Eric Wareheim directs the new MGMT video: The Youth

No surprise to anyone that i love Cartoon Networks "Tim & Eric's Awesome show, great job" on their adult swim lineup.
they're kick back to old 80's local television with odd and mostly disturbing skits have been on my radar since they began with "Tom meets the Mayor".
Looks like Eric has stepped out and directed a new video for MGMT called, "The Youth". I love it, and it wraps up a lot of what i like about their style, yet still being strangely entertaining without the link to the show.

Sad Guys on Trading Floors

It doesn't feel as though our economy is on the verge of global thermo nuclear meltdown. In fact today was pretty much like any other day. I woke up, cried myself back to sleep watching daytime court tv, syphoned gas from neighborhood cars and stuffed some more cash into my couch pillows.

The point is that we're so far removed from this stuff that we need to laugh at it while we still can. One of my friends just setup this small site to give us a glimpse into the living hell that the traders in Wall Street are going through...and allow us to make fun of them.

I'm thinking that this was perfect timing, I doubt there will be much of an end to the ammo making this site great!
